Description

broad waistbelt with large metal clasp, decorated with cowrie shells and various appendages along the lower rim (ten metal bells and hammered badges), supplemented by crossed straps which were worn like a pair of braces, decorated with various bells and spherical rattles, as well as multipart leather case, slightly dam.;
shamans are intermediaries or messengers between the human world and the spirit worlds. The various symbolic embellishment of their clothing serves as auxiliary means for their trips into a state of trance.
