High domed, lacquered helmet with curved, crested central ridge; fancy “maedate” in the shape of an inverted heart with seven arrows inserted in a radiating arrangement; small ears of lacquered leather with family “mon” made of gilt bronze. Neck guard “shikoro” of six lacquered metal plates “itamono”.

Half mask “menpõ”, two-part, iron, with five-piece neck guard “yodarekake”.
