Description

tanned deer hide, sewn from several pieces, trimming with polychromic miniature glass beads, thread on cord/sinew and attached in horizontal rows, bead appliqué in so-called “Lazy Stitch” technique in symmetrical patterns, fringes and brass bells at either end, middle blanket renewed (because of the floral pokerwork pattern on the underside it can be assumed that the middle blanket comes from a buggy seat cover), collection number “94/190” handwritten on the backside, slightly dam., crack, repair with small patches in some places, some beads/bells missing, attachment of bells probably renewed, minor spots
