wood, dark brown patina, in form of a human head, small pieces of silver metal sheet (pupils and teeth), drilled hole for support, old collection number backside “84.12.26” (W. Brill), slightly dam., minor missing parts at the base, base;
representing “no-le”, the prime mother of the Dan; guardian heads are intended to provide their owners with spiritual protection.
