wood, polychrome paint, in shape of a leopard supporting a wound-up snake, surmounted by a small oval platform, slightly dam., minor missing parts, cracks, rep. (body of the snake), abrasion;
present ritual pedestal for sacrificial bowls can be seen on a painting Emil Maetzels from 1922 with the title “Still life with vase and sculpture”.
