wood, pumpkin, janus half figure, animal horn filled with mass in the parting, mounted on a spherical calabash, wrapped with plant fibre cord with various paraphernalia attached (scale of tortoiseshell and a pangolin, snake skin, bones, teeth etc.), slightly dam., cracks, ring-shaped socle;
such rattles are used by diviners.
