Description

metal, dark patina, nearly closed narrow slit eyes, ornamental projections on the head and on both sides of the face, raised scarification marks, min. dam., slight traces of corrosion, base;
these metal masks belong to village “poro” societies; they appear at funerals and certain other festivities.
