Rare dagger "si euli" with scabbard, 19th century or earlier

The handle, in shape of a stylised animal head, is made of very old ivory. The scabbard is wrapped in brass wire along its entire length, and at the lower end it has a prominent angular iron extension. Five brass chains with bells attached.
The dagger was carried diagonally in the centre of the belt (see van Zonneveld, 2001, p. 123, fig. 497).
According to Erwin Melchardt’s expertise a rarity !
