Description

wood, blackish brown patina, red, white and indigo blue pigment, round form, a female caryatid figure in the centre, two columnar struts and two pierced planks supporting the massive seat, the rim decorated with rhomb-shaped patterns, slightly dam., the underside of the base with severe traces of insect caused damage, rep.(one plank and the base), breakages fixed by nails, crack in the seat;
the facial features of the female figure in Abeokuta style.
