Description

wood, partly encrusted brown patina, remains of kaolin, hole on top of the head filled with magical mass, wearing remains of a loincloth, min. dam., cracks, small missing parts (arms), wooden socle;
magical materials included items thought to have rare and enhancing life powers, such as pulverized fragments of human bone, or the hair of twins. By supplying the object in this way, the ritual specialist invites the spirit to inhabit the receptacle, which can then be used to assist with particular tasks.


The object Power half figure “kakudji” with the object ID 3034503 was last part of the auction 72nd tribal art auction at March 9, 2013 on Zemanek-Münster Auction house. The object with the lot number 449 achieved a sales price of EUR 1,400.
