Description

wood, matt reddish brown patina, three deepenings in the head, two at the back, one opening closed with brass tag at the stomach, small missing part backside, crack, base;
despite of its small size the figure once must have disposed of great powers because of the great number of cavities provided for insertion of magical charge. The Nsapo basically carved power and mother figures. Their sculpture was mainly influenced by Luba and Songe elements.
