ivory, amber-coloured and dark brown patina, of slightly curved natural form, the lower half decorated with two bulges, the flattened base which was used for pounding as well as the handle zone show traces of usage and wear, paint rubbed off, cracks;
used for pounding grain. According to W. Fagg women received such pestles as wedding present and from then on used them for a lifetime.
