grey terracotta, spotty patina, spherical receptacle, crowned by a typical Mangbetu lengthwise deformed head with cantilevered coiffure, min. dam., minor missing parts, slight traces of abrasion;
figurative ceramics of the Mangbetu mainly consists of palm wine vessels, which are exclusively made by men.
