wood, blackish brown patina, remains of indigo blue pigment, strings of coconut discs and glass beads, unusual narrow faces with “bulgy eyes” and small triangular ears, incised concentrical tattoos on cheeks and belly, slightly dam., minor missing parts (lips, nose), presumably from feeding procedures
