Description

wood, mat brown patina, remains of black and indigo blue paint, encrustations with camwood powder, strings of glass beads and coconut discs, male/female, with their bodies and faces nearly identical formed: crown-shaped coiffure, large eyes with prominent eyelashes, fish-snout mouth, base with incised ornaments, metal tag eyes (missing with the male figure), slightly dam., traces of insect caused damage (left side of the head/male figure), fine cracks
