Description

wood, reddish brown patina, remains of indigo blue pigment at the coiffure, characteristic traits: different hairstyle of male and female (cap-like coiffure with “ear flaps” and a kind of crown-shaped coiffure), the pupils are marked by nails (one missing), characteristic as well is the bright washing patina on the faces, both are adorned with brass rings and strings of coconut discs and are strongly encrusted with camwood powder “osun”, both proving that they were well cared for by their family, slightly dam., abrasion of paint
