wood, brown patina, camwood powder, small remains of indigo blue paint at the coiffure, strings of glass beads and coconut discs, male/female, each carved with the islamic triangle on breast and back, the female wears a carved abdominal chain, a carving idiosyncrasy found more among the Ila than in any other area, unusual detail: tattoos at the chin, slightly dam., crack (female figure), facial features rubbed off from feeding procedures
