Description

wood, light brown washing patina, black paint, traces of indigo blue pigment, male/female, drilled pupils, typical Abeokuta carving style characteristics: the high crested coiffure, tribal marks, ears with holes to attach jewellry, as well as the main feature of all Abeokuta ibeji, the loin cloth on the male figures, slightly dam., traces of insect caused damage (both bases, right leg of the female figure), rep. (base of the male figure)
