Description
wood, rich reddish brown patina, remains of black paint, encrustations with camwood powder “osun”, strings with miniature glass beads, coconut discs and abrus beans, metal rings, male/female, pupils inserted with metal tags (now missing, aside of one), high towering coiffures with neck lobe, slightly dam., missing parts at the base, insect caused damage at the coiffure (both with the female figure), beautiful patina, long years of use in the cult have rendered the facial contours of these figures barely recognizable;
ibeji twin figures devoted to “eshu” (neck lobe).
