blow pan, l: 15 cm, beaten sheet brass, corroded; three gold dust spoons, beaten silver metal sheet, l: 12,5 cm - 17,5 cm, engraved and chiselled patterns;
since the value of the currency was established by weighing, the purity of the gold dust was of great importance. For its purification specially formed blow pans were used. They allowed the elimination of lighter particles. Feathers and small brushes were used for collecting the gold dust, which was moved by means of a spoon with a long handle.
