Description
wood, black patina, encrusted in some areas, consisting of three planks, plant fibre for fixing and decor, slightly vaulted with raised middle ridge, plant fibre handle, dam. (traces from hits), missing parts, traces of old age.
Elsen commented about this object: “found together with other Boa shields, so presumably a shield from this region but with an atypical shape”.
