Description
light wood, small traces of black paint, slightly curved outwards, supporting an oval pillar on top, the struts decorated with elaborate plaited band patterns, min. dam., slight traces of usage;
the form of the neckrest reminds of the head and horns of a bush cow.
It looks insecure, and indeed it was. But this was taken for advantageous. For a deep and undisturbed sleep was not possible under these circumstances and therefore the mens alertness was much higher.
