Description

wood, brown patina, blackened in some areas, the long pillow is supported by two pairs of splayed legs, legs and central lug are carved with gently raised X-shapes, which are in turn filled with “amasumpa” in low relief, slightly dam., minor missing parts;
southafrican neckrests occasionally were made in double breadth, for husband and wife.
