Description

glass beads in various forms, colours and sizes, two brass bells, thread on cord, brass pendant, old age patina;
this chest ornament is the intersection of several symbolic motive: the upper part reproduces a section of the “Xancus Pyrum” shell, the lower part ends with the motif of the fish tail. Fish is present in many ceremonies of the hill peoples, and its significance is related to the cycles of fertility and death.
