This jewellery was worn around the neck, but was also used as war jewellery. The ornament was held in place with the teeth using the tab attached to the back and covered the wearer’s mouth and chin. A small bag with magical properties was supposed to protect the wearer from evil.


The object Neck and war ornament with the object ID 3052155 was last part of the auction Auction 105 at November 15, 2025 on Zemanek-Münster Auction house. The object with the lot number 152 achieved a sales price of EUR 300.
