Description

wood, dark brown patina, bellied corpus, rising from a foot in openwork design (reminding of a stools legs), covered with delicate incised patterns and a small mask face, curved handle, slightly dam. (rim of the mug), missing parts (base), rep. (three breakages at the handle);
used for ritual purposes, which is why such cups were made of precious wood and were carved with special care.
