Simple crosses on wood with metal beads are found mainly in Mauritania and the adjacent areas of the Sahara.

3. two small amulets, Mauritania / Sahara, Tuareg, silver(alloy(?), chased and engraved, attached silver beads, m: 3,5 cm x 2,8 cm and 3,8 cm x 4,8 cm; w: 42 g

The design of these amulets is typically Moorish, but they can also be found in this form among the Tuareg.
