Description

wood, greyish brown patina (darkened kaolin), black paint at the coiffure, small remains of green and red, fully plastic, tribe-typical facial features with sickle-shaped eyes and a heart-shaped mouth, coiffure in four lobes, slightly dam., paint rubbed off;
“hand charm”, supposedly used for the healing of sick persons. Rare !


The object Miniature mask with the object ID 3033410 was part of the auction 70th tribal art auction on September 8, 2012. The object with the lot number 366 achieved a sales price of EUR 3,300 with an asking price of EUR 2,000.
