Description

typical indigo blue “sabu cloth” robe of strips of cotton fabric which are sewn together, extremely fine characteristic Bida embroidery showing clearly the “egba jufon” (small sword), the “gabiya” (triple leaf) and the “gidan nazuman” (circle on the left), rep. (tears);
such vestments were reserved for men of high social prestige.
