silver (66.5%), gold plating: 6.5 ct,
The “marangga” was worn during special ritual occasions and is imposing because of its size, as well as its stark, “modern” shape. It was so sacred, that it was kept hidden in the “adat” house, with its use carefully controlled by priests.
