As on the back of every “lukasa”, present object shows carved triangles and incised lines that are supposed to remind of a tortoise carapace, for this animal is considered the founding ancestress of the “mbudye” association.


The object Memory board “lukasa” of the “mbudye” society with the object ID 3046070 was part of the auction 93rd Tribal Art Auction on November 16, 2019. The object with the lot number 280 achieved a sales price of EUR 1,100 with an asking price of EUR 1,000.
