Description

wood, rich blackish brown shiny patina, wig of fine plaited plant fibre strings, small remains of kaolin (eye zone), mouth with central drilling and four metal teeth, slightly dam. (nose), on base;
presumably representing a “tankagle” mask which means as much as pantomimic mask dancer. They entertain the audience by dancing, singing or performing little scenes of every day life sometimes of educational character.
