Description

wood, brown patina, kaolin, helmet-shaped, abundant grass fibre cuff at the lower rim, drilled holes in the cheek area, conical protruding eyes, the pupils inset with metal tags, pierced at the rim, rep. (right horn), traces of insect caused damage and abrasion, metal socle;
such masks were used at the “nkaan” initiation.
