Description

wood, brown patina, broad and bulky nose flanked by conical humps, castagnet eyes, partly stud with wooden pegs and aglets (mostly missing), min. dam., missing parts through insect caused damage, traces of abrasion, base.
Presumably belonging to the “gle va” type of masks. In the past “gle va” had an enormous reputation, and rarely made an appearance. It only settled large matters, such as stopping wars between villages.
