Description
wood, slightly encrusted patina, polychrome paint, vaulted calotte with human facial features, crowned by a rooster’s comb, pierced around the rim, min. dam., missing parts through insect caused damage, slight traces of abrasion, socle;
all masks of the Mossi have totemistic character and are part of genesis myths of the clan they belong to.
