Description

wood, lusterless patina, polychrome paint, crowned by two curved horns, the eyes inset with mirror glass, pierced around the rim, min. dam., small missing parts through insect caused damage, slight traces of abrasion;
the appearance of present mask at village activities should remind the audience that annoying behaviour will cause criticism.


The object Mask “ula onu” with the object ID 3035218 was part of the auction 74th tribal art auction on September 7, 2013. The object with the lot number 221 achieved a sales price of EUR 1,400 with an asking price of EUR 450.
