wood, remains of polychrome paint, of characteristic form, with drilled pupils, tribal marks on forehead and cheeks, grooved coiffure, adorned by a broad band with a bow, old label “Dahomey/NG”, missing parts (above all at the lower rim), traces of insect caused damage (right side of the head), crack, strong abrasion of paint
