Description

wood, brown patina, encrusted in some areas, small traces of black paint, pentagonal facial contours, roof-like projecting forehead, traces of metal tags, traces of old age and usage, slightly dam., missing parts (rim, eyes, mouth), cracks, base;
“bugle” are warrior mask figures, who prepared men for war or led them into the fight. The costume frequently consists of a feather headdress, a dark coloured tippet and raffia skirt.
