Description
wood, entirely coated with leather, dyed in reddish brown, traces of black paint, coiffure of short cut plant fibre, teeth of wooden splinters, missing parts through insect caused damage (head), tears and minor missing parts in the leather coating;
this mask is a mixture between a helmet and a face mask. It is deemed to be the only mask of this ethnic group and represents a kind of “Till Eulenspiegel”.
