Description

wood, blackish brown patina, marked by voluminous bulging forehead, projecting mouth with separate carved wooden teeth, raised scarification marks on forehead, temples and cheeks, min. dam., insect caused damage, cracks, traces of abrasion, base;
probably an “okua” mask used during funeral ceremonies.
