Description

wood, dark brown patina, red and white pigment, regular facial features, min. dam., small missing parts, slight traces of abrasion, base;
the Bete people live in the southwestern part of the Ivory Coast. The most well-known masks are those with several stylized horns. Masks which are stilistically a mixture with the Dan and further neighbouring tribes like the offered one are quite rare.
