Description

wood, encrusted patina, polychrome paint, voluminous forms with tubular protruding eyes, broad nose and mouth, small wooden plugs and a nail on top of the head, pierced around the rim, min. dam., cracks, minor missing parts, traces of abrasion, on base;
the ethnical group of the Kran is included in the Dan cluster. They often share the same cultic associations and their artistic works are often not to be distinguished from those of other Dan groups.
