Description
brown wood, partly shiny blackish brown patina, small slit eyes and visible teeth, scarification marks in the area of the forehead, nose, cheeks and temples, label " E 2043" at the back, pierced around the rim, min. dam., fissures, slight traces of abrasion, on metal base;
presumably belonging to the type of “pwo”-masks, who should bestow fertilty on the audience and fulfilled educational purposes as well: the dancers moved gracefully, thus teaching the girls to move in the same way.
