Description

wood, encrusted patina in some places, water spots, traces of usage

The backrest is originally carved with the contours of a bicycle.

Men in many villages throughout Burkina Faso gather in the courtyard in front of the family home, as the sun sets, and dinner is prepared. They share a pipe of tobacco or pass around a few bowls of millet beer, as men recline on comfortable, curved chairs such as this one.
