Description

wood, encrusted blackish brown patina, the upper side of the beating area carved with two stylized buffalo masks in style of “bonu amwin” masks, shaft in rope design, slightly dam., abrasion of patina, base;
the steady sound of striking the gong served the diviners to get into a trance state.
