Description

wood, reddish brown patina, black paint, two strings of coconut discs resp. miniature glass beads, two silver metal rings, distinctive posture: craning head between hanging shoulders, incised scarification marks on stomach and face, eyes with metal tag pupils, encrustations with camwood powder “osun”, traces of abrasion (nose), slightly dam. crack at the right eye (through insertion of metal tag)
