Description

wood, strongly encrusted brown patina, traces of “osun” and kaolin, two strings of miniature glass beads, fine carved regular facial features, two-parted high towering coiffure with grooves and headband, symmetrical arranged angular scarification marks on the cheeks, harmonical formed body, small traces of insect caused damage at the back of the base, encrustation partly chipped off;
beautiful old “ibeji”.
