Description

wood, reddish brown patina, encrusted with camwood powder “osun”, brass ring, the eyes originally stud with metal tags (now missing aside from one), pear-shaped faces with a broad mouth and bulging lips, elaborate cap-like coiffures, slightly dam., small traces of insect caused damage;
worn facial features because of feeding procedures.
