Description

wood, shiny dark brown patina, rising from a round base, wearing a “mukinka” mask, tattoos on the upper part of the legs, min. dam., slight traces of abrasion;
these masked dancer figures are a later addition taken from the Chokwe.


The object Male figure of a dancer with the object ID 3032200 was last part of the auction 68th tribal art auction at March 3, 2012 on Zemanek-Münster Auction house. The object with the lot number 241 achieved a sales price of EUR 600.
