A female figure from the Coulibaly workshop (also ex Kegel-Konietzko, Hamburg) was auctioned on 10 March 2018 at Zemanek-Münster.

Formerly placed on the altar of a fortune teller “sando”.

Sculptures on divination altars reflect the status, prestige, and skill of their owners and appeal to spiritual intermediaries.


The object Male altar figure “ndeo” with the object ID 3045276 was last part of the auction 91 Tribal Art Auction at March 9, 2019 on Zemanek-Münster Auction house. The object with the lot number 144 achieved a sales price of EUR 1,800.
